Last Post

Last Post from Shelley Berry on Vimeo.

We are so lucky to have our teacher Miss Nicholas. She is a very talented musician. In this video she is playing a 1915 bugle. On ANZAC Day this year she is playing the 'Last Post' all around South Taranaki. It was a nice end to our visit from Amelia's mum Louisa, who shared her ANZAC family history.

Last Friday I had a blast, helping Juniors in discovery learning time which is a Junior activity for years 0-4, and   every week it has a theme last week the theme was music, And I was lucky enough to teach three talented kids how to make their very first I-Movie! This project was for my Digi key which is based around technology and how you can use it in everyday life, Have a look at Paige and Ben's I-Movie they made, feel fee to give them some feed-back they would love to hear from you! Thanks for watching, Emily from Emily's E-mazing Smarticles.

We have been learning about ANZAC Day

Today we had Lousia come to school and share her ANZAC family history. The children were fascinated by things she bought in. We feel very luck that our dad's have not had to go to war.

Halves

We have been working on fractions in class.
We are making everyday connections with fractions, to
demonstrate to the students just how awesome fractions are!
