Adding Feelings in our Writing
Getting children to write about their feelings is often very powerful, as it gives children another outlet to express how they feel, and a chance to include interesting vocabulary. The writing does not always have to be 'positive', a negative spin on what they are writing can kick start a reluctant writer. It can encourag a writer to simply get started, and have a bit of a vent. Bianca from Room 8 has worked particularly hard today. She successfully completed the learning intension by adding feelings to her writing, she used an emotional word (mad), and she explained what made her feel a certain way, among many other good things. This is awesome work Bianca, keep it up!
